The NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball tournament has a “preview’’ before the show begins in mid-March.
Conference tournaments are starting next week across 30 different event sites throughout the US. The winners of the conference tournament then build the bracket for the infamous NCAA tournament that is being hosted in Indianapolis. The conference tournaments start with “playoff pods”, opening rounds, or first rounds depending on the conference tournament you are watching.
Some of the venue sites include Las Vegas, Pensacola Florida, New York, Indianapolis, Fort Worth Texas, Jacksonville Florida, and some others. Each site has its own set of regulations with regards to keeping the athletes and coaching staff safe from COVID-19.
Most of the games are televised on ESPN and numerous platforms across ESPN. The conference tournaments are ending right in time for selection Sunday for the basketball tournament. There is more to look forward to as the month descends into “madness!’’
