LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lock Haven men’s soccer (3-5-3) honored their graduating seniors on Saturday, Oct. 7. The seven seniors are Ryan Foskey, William Kamga, Gabe Leach, Kolachi Pombor Jr., Tom Pombor, Zane Puhala, and Colton Swanson

The team truly made their seniors proud as they defeated Shippensburg. At the beginning of the first half, Connor Swope stole the ball and made a goal with the goalie out of the box. The impressive goals continued in the second half with Tom Pombor scoring from right outside the penalty box.

Lock Haven almost had a third goal, but Shippensburg’s defense got it out before it reached the net. Shippensburg scored a goal in the second half, which closened the score gap. Lock Haven pulled through with a win of 2-1 for senior night.

Lock Haven will travel to Maryland to face District of Columbia on Wednesday, Oct. 11. The match will kick off at 3:00 p.m.

Rose is a transfer student from Montgomery County Community College. This is her first year at Lock Haven University, but her second year in college. She is majoring in Social Work with a minor in Psychology. She intends on pursuing her master's degree in social work after graduating from Lock Haven.
