LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – In an exciting, engaging game, the Lock Haven men’s soccer team (2-2-2) tied, 2-2, with East Stroudsburg (4-0-2).

At the beginning of the first half, no goals were scored. Then, a double assist from Connor Swope and Austin Kravetz set up Graham Thurley with the first score of the game. Lock Haven continued to inch ahead after Tom Pombor scored a goal with an assist from his brother Jimmy Pombor.

The first half ended with Lock Haven leading by two. East Stroudsburg scored two points during the second half. Both goals were scored by Bradley Turocy. The first goal was close to the beginning of the second half, and it was assisted by Ethan Flickinger. The second goal was another double assist by AJ Rivera and Austin Weeks-Woodward. The final score was 2-2.

There were a fair number of fouls and yellow cards on both sides as it was a physical, intense game to watch. The Lock Haven defense stood out as ESU had many opportunities to score.
