LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lock Haven women’s soccer (2-8-1) grabbed their first home win of the season, 2-0, against Mansfield (3-7-2) on Oct. 11.

The game was 0-0 for the first half and most of the second half. In the last few minutes of the game, two goals were scored. The first goal exhibited great passing skills from Janessa Swartz and Jocey Francis who passed the ball to Avery Landrum for the first goal of the game. The second goal came within the last minute of the game. Francis scored the last goal with an assist from Evelyn Ciaccia.

The ladies took more shots at the goal this game, in comparison to their recent outings, and their perseverance paid off.
