LOCK HAVEN, Pa.Lock Haven women’s soccer hosted Millersville on Wednesday (Oct. 4), coming out with a 1-0 loss.

The theme of the game was mental health awareness which was influenced by Morgan’s Message, a non-profit organization. Morgan’s Message aims to bring awareness to mental health in high school and college athletes. They emphasize the normalcy of mental health and speak out to empower those who are suffering alone.

In the first half and most of the second, both teams were tied at 0-0. In the second half, Millersville’s own Aalivia Wainwright scored on Lock Haven with an assist from Palina Jordan. Soon after, Trinity Seaman made a great shot, but hit the crossbar and bounced off. The final score of the game was 1-0, a loss for Lock Haven.

Women’s Soccer continues to improve their offense each time they play.
