With the National Football League (NFL) trade deadline right around the corner, many teams are going to want to have their rosters ready to go for when playoffs come around in January. The deadline is Oct. 31, so we could see a lot of big names be on the move before November hits. The star caliber players from low performance teams are typically the ones that are subject to be traded to new and better teams. Here are five NFL players that we could certainly see on the move within the next coming weeks.

Davante Adams

Davante Adams is arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL. Even though he is 30-years-old, he is still dominating the league and putting up big numbers. Adams spent most of his career in Green Bay with future hall of fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Just last year, Adams stepped away from Green Bay to come and play with his former college quarterback Derek Carr with the Las Vegas Raiders. Now that Carr has been traded to the New Orleans Saints, Adams is not happy with the Raiders losing, even though he is still playing at a very high level. The Raiders have a lot of young talent and plan to start rebuilding, and due to Adams’ age, they will probably not include him in the rebuild. He could certainly be traded within the next few weeks and some teams that could potentially use him the most are the Baltimore Ravens, the Houston Texans or the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brian Burns

Brian Burns is a 25-year-old edge rusher for the Carolina Panthers who has shown that he belongs in the NFL. Over his 5-year career, he has put up impressive statistics such as 42 sacks and 132 solo tackles. Burns is not the problem behind the Carolina Panthers 0-6 start to the season. The team is going to explore options for Burns as they could trade him for draft picks and clear cap space to sign more players. He is the best player on this team and certainly cannot be happy with the team’s performance so far. Burns could be joining a new team soon and teams that could use him the most are the Philadelphia Eagles, the Los Angeles Rams or the Chicago Bears.

Ryan Tannehill

Ryan Tannehill had improvement in his career after he came to play for the Tennessee Titans from the Miami Dolphins. Tannehill has only been to the playoffs three times in his career and he has been in the league since 2012. He has been on the decline for a while now and this year is capitalizing on that as he only has two passing touchdowns and six interceptions through six games. The only reason that the Titans are currently 2-4 is because of superstar running back Derrick Henry, who has been the heart and soul of that offense and has been for the last number of years. The Titans have also used their last two first round draft picks on quarterbacks Will Levis and Malik Willis. It’s time for the Titans to move on from the 35-year-old Tannehill. If the Titans can trade him, he could land with a team such as the Atlanta Falcons, the New England Patriots, or the Indianapolis Colts.

Garrett Bolles

Garrett Bolles is currently the left tackle for the Denver Broncos. Bolles has spent his whole career in Denver, being drafted in 2017. He came to the Broncos two years after they had won the Super Bowl and Peyton Manning retired. The Broncos are currently experiencing yet another tough season as this team has not been the same since Manning left. The Broncos were even on the losing side of a 70-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. Following that game, Bolles told reporters, “I’m tired of losing, man. I’ve been here for seven years and all I’ve done is lost. And it’s frustrating.” It’s safe to say Bolles wants a change in scenery, and many teams need an offensive line, even the more winning ones. We could see Bolles joining a new team in the coming weeks such as the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, or the Buffalo Bills.

Budda Baker

The Arizona Cardinals do not have a whole lot of star caliber players, but Budda Baker is the best player on this struggling team and his frustration shows that he wants out from the losing Cardinals organization. For example, last season the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Cardinals in Arizona and won the Super Bowl that was hosted in Arizona, the Chiefs won more times in Arizona last year that Cardinals did. Baker is 27 years old and still has a lot of seasons left to play as a safety in the NFL. He does not want to leave the league without a ring and does not believe that can be achieved with the Cardinals. The Cardinals are looking to rebuild anyways and will explore trade options for Budda Baker, so it is possible that we see him on a new team in the coming weeks. Some teams in need for a safety that could land Baker are the Buffalo Bills, the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Philadelphia Eagles.
