LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – On Thursday, March 21, the Haven Activities Council hosted laser tag from 6 p.m. through 10 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center.

Students had to bring their IDs, get them scanned by a HAC member, and were free to play.

“It was very fun. From past experiences I’ve had with laser tag it is probably top two,” said freshman early education major Alexis Mann’Fritc.

The laser tag was set up in an inflatable arena. Aside from the laser tag equipment, there were colorful strobe lights, music and a fog machine.

Mann’Fritc said she would definitely go to this event again and highly recommended it to other students.

When asked about his motivation for planning these events, HAC president Carson Ikner wants to help “make Lock Haven a fun campus for students.” Ikner explains that many HAC events are scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday nights because this is when a lot of students don’t have much to do.

Ikner acknowledges that these events are a good excuse for students to go out and proves to be a good environment for them to connect with each other.

“We’ve been really communicating through our Instagram lately. We usually post polls for people to vote on,” said Emily Smeal, HAC student worker.
