The LHU Eagle Eye hosted a game-related fundraiser in the recreation room of the PUB on Oct. 14 from 5pm to 8pm.

In order to participate in the video game night, individuals had to pay $3 for free play, and $5 to play tournaments. Participants were given color ribbons to help staff know what games they paid to play.

Each person depending on if they choose free play or tournament were given tickets to enter raffles for themed baskets or cash prizes offered. Additional ticket sales were offered throughout the event.

Mario Kart and Madden NFL 22 were the two videogames offered to play, and there were card games available too. Winners of the tournaments and runner-up were given prizes.

Light snacks and drinks were served to the guests and were provided by the members of the Eagle Eye.

A total of four people showed up to the event, two for the Mario Kart tournament and two for the Madden NFL 22 tournament. Members of the Eagle Eye participated in the game tournaments as an extra form of competition.

When all tournaments were finished that’s when the winners of the raffle baskets and cash prizes were announced. Some participants won prizes during the raffle and some members of the Eagle Eye won too.

A total of $95 was raised at the game-related fundraiser and for the spring semester there will be another videogame fundraiser for the Eagle Eye.
