Feb. 27 marked the last episode of season two of HBO Max’s show Euphoria. The eight episodes did not disappoint, they were full of endless twists leaving viewers shocked with anticipation for every new episode. Fans will have to wait until the year 2024 for season three of the show. This article will summarize what happened in the season finale of Euphoria…beware of the major plot spoilers ahead if you continue reading.

  • Ashtray kills Custer for snitching him and Fez to the police for murdering the drug lord Mouse.
  • Fez never made it to Lexi’s play. 
  • Previous phone calls between Fez and Lexi reveal that Fez wants a life like the movie “Little House on the Prairie” and Lexi wants to have three kids before the age of 30 to spend the rest of her life working on her writings.
  • The last message Fez sent to Lexi was “on my way” and the last message Fez saw from Lexi was “I saved you the best seat in the house”.
  • Cassie storms the stage during the carnival scene of Lexi’s play in hopes of ruining the play because Nate broke up with her.
  • Maddy beats up Cassie on stage and chases her off the set with Kat trying to split the two apart and BB encouraging Maddy to get revenge. 
  • Lexi’s play picks back off before Cassie interrupts it.
  • Rue meets up with Elliot to clear the air and is a part of her “I’m sorry” journey to those she hurt. 
  • Elliot plays Rue a song on his guitar that he created about their friendship. 
  • Ash barricades himself with weapons in the bathroom against Fez’s wishes waiting for the police to raid the house. 
  • The police raid Fez’s house [Faye, Fez and Ash are the only people inside] and it’s a shootout between Ash and the cops. 
  • The cops kill Ash, and the viewers are unaware of what happens to Fez [he has a bullet wound in his lower stomach area] and Faye.
  • Nate reports Cal [Nate’s father] to the police about his sexual history with minors and Cal is taken into the police station. 
  • Rue and Lexi rekindle their friendship because the play in essence saved Rue’s life and allowed her to have another perspective on her life.
  • Cassie, and Maddy have calmed down and speak for the first time since Cassie chose Nate over their friendship, and Maddy responds with “It’s only the beginning”.
  • After the play ends, Jules tells Rue that she still loves and cares for her, but Rue only responds by kissing her forehead and then leaves the auditorium peacefully.
