- Cassie, and Maddy have calmed down and speak for the first time since Cassie chose Nate over their friendship, and Maddy responds with “It’s only the beginning”.
- After the play ends, Jules tells Rue that she still loves and cares for her, but Rue only responds by kissing her forehead and then leaves the auditorium peacefully.
