The Eagle Eye hosted a video game night fundraiser at the PUB’s game room to bring funds to their club while also having fun playing video games. There was a total of three tournaments which included Mario Kart, Mario Party and Super Smash Bros. Free-play games offered was Uno and Cards Against Humanity. The event lasted for four hours, and prizes were given to the tournament winners, and Dr. McKeague made a guest appearance to the event.

The food offered was Domino’s pizza and garlic balls, Lay’s chips, and Oreo cookies. Beverages included Pepsi wild cherry and Mountain Dew. All food provided by the EE staff.

The first tournament was Super Smash Bros which lasted an hour and a total of four players participated. While that tournament went on, other people played Uno until a winner was declared for the first tournament. The winner of the first tournament was Joel Robinson who was playing Kirby.

The second tournament was Mario Party where three communication students went against their professor, Dr. McKeague. They put up a good fight against Dr. McKeague but were no match to his Mario Party skills and tactics. The winner of the second tournament was Dr. McKeague who was Donkey Kong.

The last tournament was Mario Kart where three EE staff went against their favorite professor Dr. McKeague. Kit Taveras was their only hope in ever winning against the pro-gamer Dr. McKeague. To no ones’ surprise, Dr. McKeague was the winner of this tournament using his favorite character, Donkey Kong. All prizes were gifted to their deserved winners, Dr. McKeague and Joel Robinson.
